yeah,... I remember watching the thunderbirds ..great old-school cheese .

As kids we would mimic the way they walk and move , and imitate their conversations trying to only move your jaw and no other facial expression..

. in my age + social group still... if you start to mimic this movement and talk about things going wrong, ..it's a socially acceptable way of teasing someone for panicking uneccessarily .

A WIP that advances ... slowly . I do many other things at the same time (Tarzan project among others), tonight I inaugurate my seminole table with a game of SODT. I had to do a lot of other trees for this table.
Well ......for my vietnam like table I found a carpet (in fabric shop), in fact it is a kind of leather,
HO streetlights and what to do the median of my main streets with toys for kid. It lacks a bit of animation :bang :D

A shell station, based on the various photos that I could find of the station of Saigon or other.

Apart from some posters in Vietnamese (which I have retrieved or remade according to the photos) nothing really distinguishes it from a station elsewhere in the world unless we add an M113 :D

The buildings look great and the petrol station is cool too! I like your street layout too - that median strip looks nice. I will have to rustle up something similar... :whistle

Somehow I am not getting email notices of the postings I have signed up for. sunihanble, I have never seen better Vietnam city buildings than yours.

The video was really cool. You are one talented and creative person.

Can you give any particulars on the HO buildings you used. I would like to try to get some too.

Thanks very much.

Hello Tom
I buy the HO buildings in flea markets, for modern buildings, they come from JOUEF. For the others, I buy what I find and modify them.
For those who are interested I have recovered posters and advertisements from original photos and some from 1/35 decals.I had to work on most of them and sometimes it's not as good as I want but this works not bad for the 15mm.

Thanks sunihanble. That is really helpful. I see that Jouef buildings show up here on eBay.

You have done a wonderful job with all of this.
