28mm 1957 Citroen at "Tuesday Morning" shop

Postby vcarter on Fri Aug 01, 2008 5:46 am

I was in the local Tuseday Morning store yesterday and they have A 1957 model Cirtoen 2CV it appears in size be about 1/56 – 1/48 and are selling for $9.99 USD + tax. I picked it up for Vietnam gaming (something for my VC tax collector to ride around in).

It comes in showroom condition. So first I hit it with a hammer a few times to give it some dents, a little dry brush with rust, repaint the chrome with dull metal, some mud pen work, and a blast of clear flat and now it looks like its been around for a few years.

You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?

Hey, that's sweet. Now where is my local Tuesday morning? Oh, wait, I need 1/72 scale... :(
Boris: Hey, Natasha, you never gonna believe Who's in there!
Natasha: Is Peabody and Sherman?
Boris: Silly girl! Is moose and squirrel.

Neat idea that. I have a van version that was picked up in a charity shop for 20p.
