ACADEMY 1/72 A-37B DRAGONFLY

Postby GARRYOWEN on Thu Oct 29, 2009 12:36 pm

There has been some interest in this model, the Academy 1/72 A-37B Dragonfly. I think it may be out of production. I went to Academy's website and could not find it with their other 1/72 aircraft.

I just got one from ehobbies.com. Their price was $8.99 with $5.64 shipping to Ohio.

In case anyone wanted it, I though I should mention this.

Um, I'm not so sure about their international shipping costs... looks like it will cost an additional $39.15 to ship that $8.99 item PLUS $29.79 in customs brokerage for a total of CAD $83.04. *cough*

If you don't live within the continental US, consider also ekrhobby, an Ebay seller out of Korea. The same A-37B for $6.60 plus $6.00 postage to Canada. Total $12.60 CAD to my door. This outfit has a lot of other good Academy stuff, too!

Just an option...

I love that aircraft! I just wish someone did it in 1:100 scale. :(

COL Stone, yes I have it. Looks like I could have saved a couple of bucks by ordering from Korea. When I did not see it on Academy's website and found a reasonable price, I grabbed it.

You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?
