Sometimes I wish I had paid attention in math class, but then again in this interwebs age of information it seems like it don't matter none since everything is just a well worded search away.

I wanted to look at the probabilities of obtaining certain results on tables I was putting together and, sure enough, I found a great free utility that let me do just that: Small Roller will let you lay down the types of die rolls you want to do, lets you roll them and also offers up a nice graph plus percentages for obtaining any result or range of results.

That's pretty cool. I wrote a program to do dice rolls and it turned out to be a bigger pain than originally expected. Computers don't do random very well.

I like the statistics they toss in there. It's kind of comforting to know that my horrible dice rolling is statistically inprobable... making my "cursed" theory seem much more likely.

Being able to see the bell curves and other graphs gives me a whole new perspective on what I should expect a table to offer-up.
