Re: Interesting Scenario from Jorgenson’s Acceptable Loss

That sounds like an awesome scenario idea. It should put the players in a different mindset since it's not a normal attack, just like the real event. Should cause some confusion and different tactics as well. I hope you do it because I'd sure like to see it done. :bravo

He talks about what's coming up with their current ranges and mentions the possiblity of looking at a Korean War range and/or Vietnam. No definte yes or no on either on but I thought it was interesting. I'd say they must be t...

Re: Video of Incident from "Acceptable Loss" book

Well that was an epic post fail on my part. :huh Thanks for the assist Tom!! :good

I've read his books on his experiences as a LRRP which were prior to joining the "Blues". They're good as well but this book is by far my favorite.

Re: Cold Wars '17

So far what I've seen improvement wise in BA v2 is snipers are more deadly, the un-occuppied transports still being able to use their weapons was needed, officers can be more effective, and using the blast template is deadly. All good improvements. I haven't given BA v2 a good read through but I've ...

Re: Video of Incident from "Acceptable Loss" book

It mentions him by last name and a couple other guys plus the unit so I double checked the book to make sure it was what I thought it was.

Video of Incident from "Acceptable Loss" book

For those of you that have read "Acceptable Loss" by Kregg Jorgenson, I stumbled across video from a CBS news crew that was there when he was shot in the legs on patrol. I've read that book several times and remember reading of that incident so it was strange to find a video. If you've rea...

Re: Nam68: Platoon / FMJ project

I really like the Barnes model. I think it's the pose. It captures his personality. The others are great also of course. They're going to look pretty sweet when you get them painted up.

Re: Nam68: Platoon / FMJ project

A lot of conversion work on that one. Good job!! It's pretty cool to see what parts your using from different ranges to make these work.
