ZSU 57-2s

Postby General Castries » Mon Aug 01, 2016 4:12 am

I'm building up my armies for the later part of the Vietnam war - 1971-75 - for Laos, the Easter Offensive, and the final fall. I've got a nice platoon of ARVIN infantry, with M113s and M41s. I have also have a guy buildings a couple of A-37 "Dragonflies" for me (in SVNAF markings).

To help out my PAVN, I asked the very talented Troop of Shewe to put together a couple of ZSU 57-2s for me. Pictures of the final article can be found here: ZSU 57-2s: https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/troop-of- ... 823158125/

I couldn't open the link for some reason, but I saw the models at the Troop of Shewe blog- nice! Is the other Indochina stuff there yours as well?

Are these models the to counter the VNAF A-37s or do you see them more in a direct fire role?

Yup, the Vietnamese and Indochine vehicles are mine (including M24s, Sheridans, M113s, trucks, crabes and alligators). As to the ZSUs, I'll use them mainly for AA purposes, but I am happy with the way the look.
